Aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, as a high-quality phosphate binder and performance enhancer, is a key additive in the production of ceramic refractory products. Honghai Chemical's liquid aluminum dihydrogen phosphate can be applied to the production of various categories, including refractory kiln furniture, high-temperature structural ceramics, electrical insulating ceramics, and wear-resistant ceramic parts. The product's core advantages are significant: First, it strengthens the green body, exhibiting excellent bonding performance at room temperature and forming a stable aluminum phosphate phase at high temperatures, maintaining good compressive and flexural strength even at 1400℃; Second, it improves the product's thermal shock resistance, alleviating cracking and breakage problems caused by rapid heating and cooling in ceramic products, effectively extending the service life of kiln furniture such as saggers, kiln shelves, and kiln car liners; Third, it has the advantage of low-temperature solidification, reducing ceramic firing temperatures, helping enterprises achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction, and avoiding production problems such as loose green bodies and deformation; Fourth, it optimizes the density of ceramic green bodies, improving the finished product's wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and resistance to molten material erosion, while also being suitable for the production of electrical insulating ceramics, improving the product's electrical dielectric properties.

In practical production applications, Honghai Chemical's liquid aluminum dihydrogen phosphate (mainstream content approximately 50%) is easy to use. Ceramic companies can directly add it to wet-mixed powder materials, typically at 3%–8% of the total powder weight, effectively improving green body strength and reducing breakage during transport. It can also be combined with alumina and mullite powders to prepare repair slurries and protective coatings for bonding and repairing ceramic parts. The complete processing flow is recommended to follow: air drying at room temperature, thorough drying at 80-120℃, heat treatment at 300-500℃ for dehydration and shaping, followed by conventional high-temperature firing. Strict control of the drying process can avoid high-temperature bubbling and cracking problems. Solid powdered aluminum dihydrogen phosphate is mostly used in dry batching and refractory preform manufacturing, with the addition amount controlled at 2%–5% of the total powder weight. After the dry powder is mixed evenly, water is added for molding, followed by low-temperature preheating activation and then high-temperature firing.

To ensure stable and safe production for our customers, Henan Honghai Chemical has compiled a complete set of practical operating precautions. The aluminum dihydrogen phosphate system is weakly acidic; therefore, plastic or ceramic materials should be prioritized for stirring equipment, and operators should take basic protective measures. Rapid high-temperature baking is strictly prohibited during the drying process to prevent surface crusting and internal water accumulation and cracking of the green body. Raw materials must not be directly mixed with strong alkaline raw materials such as lime, water glass, or soda ash to avoid reaction failure and clumping. Liquid products should be stored in cool, sealed locations, and powder products should be stored in a moisture-proof environment. The company also provides a mature reference ratio for kiln furniture ceramics: 90-95 parts alumina/mullite powder mixed with 4-7 parts of our liquid aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, with water added as needed to adjust the consistency. After mixing, molding, staged drying, and high-temperature firing, high-quality refractory ceramic products can be produced.
